Pursuing the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Light House Project of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh with 1,040 houses in S+13 storeys with all basic and social infrastructure facilities has been completed in partnership with the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Light House Project in Lucknow on 10th March 2024 virtually in an event held in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

In this project, each house has one room, hall, a kitchen, one toilet and bathroom conforming to the building norms. Each block has provision of lifts. LHP Lucknow has been constructed using Stay In Place PVC Formwork with Pre Engineered Steel Structural System technology. In this technology, construction is done in a sequential manner where at first, the Prefabricated PVC Wall panels and Pre-Engineered Steel Structural Sections as per the design are transported to the site. Then, these sections are erected on the prepared foundation using cranes and required connections. Floor is installed using decking sheet. Once the structural frame and floor is installed and aligned, wall panels are fixed on decking floor. The pre-fabricated walling panels having provisions of holes for services conduits, are fixed along with the reinforcement & cavities inside the wall panels are filled with concrete. Upon instalment of wall panels, flooring and ceiling, the finishing work is executed.

Various benefits of using this technology include speedy construction, quality & durability, energy & resource efficiency. The formwork system does not have plastering requirement & gives a very aesthetic look. In addition, the project has special features like solar lighting, rain water harvesting, waste water recycling amongst others.
