Pursuing the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Light House Project of Indore, Madhya Pradesh with 1,024 houses in S+8 storeys with all basic and social infrastructure facilities has been completed in partnership with the State Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Light House Project in Indore on 5th October 2023 virtually in an event held in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh in the presence of Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
In this prestigious project, each house has one room, hall, a kitchen, one toilet and bathroom conforming to the building norms. Each block has provision of two lifts. In this project, Prefabricated Sandwich Panel System with Pre-engineered Steel Structural System technology was used. In this technology, the factory-made Prefabricated Sandwich Panel System comprises a core of cement mortar with EPS granules balls sandwiched between 5mm thick calcium silicate boards on both sides. These sandwich panel systems act as wall panels replacing conventional brick & mortar walling construction practices and can be used as load-bearing and non-load bearing walling for residential and commercial buildings. The prefabricated sandwich panels are used in combination with a pre-engineered steel structural system for high rise buildings as a dry wall construction in this project. Various benefits of using this technology include speedy construction, quality & durability, energy & resource efficiency, thermal comfort and dust free site environment. In addition, the project has special features like solar lighting, rain water harvesting, waste water recycling amongst others.
